Our 5th graders got a glimpse into their futures today during a fun, hands-on career exploration activity with Mrs. Godbold! 💚💛
Students answered questions about their interests, personalities, and the things they enjoy doing. Each answer was represented by a different colored bead, which they used to create their very own interest bracelets! 📿
Once their bracelets were complete, students looked at their most common colors to discover which career fields might be a great match for their interests and strengths. They also explored how those same interests and strengths can be used right now in the classroom and around our school!
The goal wasn’t to decide what they want to be when they grow up, but to help them recognize that the things they enjoy, the strengths they have, and the things that make them unique can open doors to so many possibilities! ✨
It’s never too early to start discovering who you are and all the things you could become! 🐻💚💛
