🐝 What's the buzz? Come find out! 🐝

Join us as we celebrate National Honey Bee Day at the Lenoir County Farmers Market on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM! 🌻🍯

Bring the whole family for a fun and educational morning where you can:
🍯 Sample delicious local honey from the Neuse Regional Beekeepers
🌼 Learn why pollinators are so important to our food supply
🐝 Discover simple ways you can help protect honeybees and our native pollinators
❓ Ask local beekeepers all of your buzzing bee questions

The NC State Extension Master Gardenerβ„  Volunteers of Lenoir County will also have a booth with hands-on activities and information for all ages!

🐝 Honey Bee Fact: Did you know that a single honey bee visits 50–100 flowers during one foraging trip? Together, a colony of bees can pollinate millions of flowers each day, helping produce many of the fruits, vegetables, and nuts we enjoy!

We can't wait to see you at the market for a morning full of fun, learning, and all things bees! πŸŒ»πŸ―πŸ’›
