Today is a special day for Kinston High School and the entire community. For the first time in ten years, the Vikings are competing for a state football championship—a testament to the hard work, discipline, and commitment shown by these players, coaches, and supporters throughout the season.
Every workout, every practice, and every challenge along the way has led to this moment.
No matter the outcome, this team has already made Kinston and Lenoir County proud. Play with confidence, heart, and unity, and represent your school and community with pride. Best of luck to the Vikings as you take the field. Go make history!

Thank you to Northwest Elementary School for allowing KHS FBLA to help with decorating and volunteering at the Sneaker Ball again this year. It is always a pleasure to have some of our students interact with the younger generation and give back to the community. We look forward to moments like this and are grateful for each opportunity to be a part of such an awesome experience. The students really enjoyed themselves!

Today was a great day for our Vikings. Some of our FBLA students along with a few of the other students from Kinston High School volunteered at Northeast Elementary School. These students enjoyed interacting with the third through fifth grade students as they participated in field day events. Way to go Vikings!

NCFBLA State Leadership Conference: 3rd place Web Banner - Zaria Newton, Savannah Wade, and Jada Hubbard. Finalist for Help Desk - Jayla Sessoms. Good luck tomorrow to Jayla in her final presentation. Final awards given out on Saturday! What an experience for all of the FBLA students attending the conference. Learning about credit reports, job interview skills, and many other important business skills is helping to shape their bright futures.

The fun before the business! KHS FBLA took a tour of NC A&T before State competition begins tomorrow. They were excited to see some of the sites and to experience the culture of the school. The hope was to inspire a desire for higher education and to encourage students to keep their options open when choosing their next future destination. Good luck to all of the participants tomorrow at the FBLA State competition!

Tonight some of KHS's FBLA students volunteered for an awesome cause. A gospel benefit was held to help raise money for the continuation of the teaching of Bible classes. FBLA ran the concession stand in efforts to help raise money for these classes. Our students were so excited to band together and help raise money for such a worthy cause. We couldn't be more proud of these awesome students! Way to go Vikings!
