APA Mothers' Committee

APA Mothers' Committee The Mothers' Committee serves as a very important fund raising and support organization for the school.

In 1969, a few years after the school had opened its doors, mothers Lillian Parrott and Barbara Perry conceived the idea for a parents' organization that would support Parrott Academy's mission. An executive committee consisting of committee chairs organizes fundraising efforts such as the biannual auction and the Boosterthon Fun Run, gift wrap sales, and other fund raisers. Proceeds go to special

projects identified by the headmaster. The Mothers' Committee is a vital and hard working group of parents who make invaluable behind the scenes contributions to the school every day. Every mom and dad is encouraged to participate in Mothers' Committee activities. An army of volunteers help with many events throughout the year. Volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to email the president or secretary.

It was wonderful seeing so many familiar and new faces this morning! šŸ’™ We had a full house, and weā€™re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their ideas, and signed up to help make this school year special!

This week we had a wonderful time celebrating our 2025-2026 Arendell Parrott Academy Mothersā€™ Committee at our annual end of school brunch! Each year these amazing ladies spend countless hours on special projects around APA, including: multiple fundraisers, our lower school Room Momā€™s program, Teacher Appreciation, Thanksgiving baskets for support staff, Grandparentā€™s & Special Friendā€™s Days, our yearly back-to-school Welcome Coffee, multiple open houses, a Homecoming Oyster Roast and so much more! We canā€™t say thank you enough to each and every one of our Mothersā€™ Committee members!
