Our mission is to provide selected Mountaineer ChalleNGe Academy graduates with Career and Technical Education leading to industry recognized certification and job placement. This week is National Counselors Week, & so we’d like the show off our counselor here at MJCP. He’s been a vital addition to the team, & we’re very thankful to have him.

MJCP: How long have you been a Counselor Mr.Dolan?
DOLAN: 39 years, I received my Masters from WVU in Counseling & Psychology.

MJCP: What’s your favorite thing about being a counselor?
DOLAN: It’s very rewarding. I’ve always had a passion for helping people. If I can guide someone through something really difficult, that gives me a feeling of great accomplishment.

MJCP: What made you interested in counseling here at MJCP?
DOLAN: This program can really change a persons life. There aren’t too many places like it. The opportunities for education & job placement are really special. I want to make an impact on these kids lives, & here I have the chance to do that.

MJCP: What’s your goal here at MJCP?
DOLAN: To help as many students as possible. I really want them to unlock their potential here. Complete the program, & move on to be successful in all aspects of their lives.

On Friday Jan 30th. We held a private induction ceremony for our class 1-26 students.
It filled our hearts to hear their voices ring together, accepting the terms of their enrollment. It is with great pride we offer them this new beginning.

From all the MJCP family, Welcome!
We look forward to having another great cycle!
