The Hunterdon Art Tour

THAT is a small, dedicated volunteer group of artists, art lovers and longtime Hunterdon County residents.

The Hunterdon Art Tour (THAT) is an annual countywide driving tour of artist’s studios. THAT cultivates awareness of and builds connections within Hunterdon County’s abundant creative and educational communities, and thereby gains recognition for the county as a vital home and destination for the arts.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Unfortunately, we did not receive enough participation to hold The Hunterdon Art Tour this year. We are sorry for any disappointment this causes. BUT, there is some EXCITING NEWS: After reviewing the feedback regarding the application process and the format of the program, we are reorganizing with the intent to hold the tour and a potential accompanying exhibit at the Hunterdon Art Museum in 2028. Stay tuned for more!

The Hunterdon Art Tour (THAT) is returning in 2026! Join us for a weekend-long, self-guided tour of the studios of Hunterdon County’s many talented artists, May 1 through May 3, 2026. Artists interested in being featured on the tour can apply via our interest form. Don't have your own studio space? No problem! Artists who do not have studio space of their own may share space with other participating artists who do have studios, or through designated THAT destinations.

THAT is a biennial juried self-guided tour of artist studios, open to the public May 1 - 3 from 10 am to 6 pm. There will also be an artist-supported exhibit and reception on May 1 at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton.
