Calling all WHE Dads, Grandpas, Uncles and Male Role Models...

We are excited to continue WATCH DOGS at WHE again this year, and we'd love for you to join us! You are invited to attend our WATCH DOGS Kick Off on Thursday, September 10th from 6:00-7:00! You'll learn about the WATCH DOGS program and what it will take to become a WHE WATCH DOGS Volunteer at WHE this school year.

Who are Watch DOGS? WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. ® school. During the day, WatchDOGS may read and work on flash cards with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well.

Join us in Congratulating our first Super Staffer for the 26-27 school year, Mrs. Belinda Lane!!

Belinda is always such a light here at WHE! She's always smiling, willing to help, works hard, and is always kind to everyone she encounters. She is such a delight to work with and deserves this recognition because she is the epitome of our school motto: "Together, We Make a Team." It takes a team effort for everyone to be successful in a positive learning environment, and it starts at the front desk when people walk into our school! Thank you for all you do, Belinda!
