Creating an atmosphere that encourages social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth is important to me. In a small home environment I can give individual attention to assure children are learning at their own pace, in ways they individually find interesting and that nurture their individual personalities, while meeting and/or exceeding the criteria they will need to be prepared for kinderg
arten. Each and every day I work with children I feel privileged to have the opportunity to see the world through their eyes. I feel happy that I get to share in their laughter and exploration. This is how I want to spend my days. This is the purpose that I want to follow. I understand how difficult it is to leave your child in someone else's care. With regular honest communication my goal is to teach and care for your children the way you would like at home. That being said I encourage ongoing suggestions and input from you. I want you to feel confident and reassured when you leave your child in my care. Each child is unique and special and they will be treated that way. I hope to encourage a healthy, happy and balanced development. I hope that when their day is over they go home feeling happy and proud of themselves. I look forward to being a positive influence in these little people's lives! Curriculum includes arts and crafts, music and body movement, dramatic play, manipulative play with math readiness concepts and reading readiness concepts, reading for enjoyment, sensory play/science, outdoor exploration and free play on a regular basis. As they occur I will have special activities planned to celebrate holidays and birthdays. Children learn through play and every age appropriate activity will help the child grow into a balanced individual.
