Texas A&M University-Kingsville Educator Preparation Services Teacher and Bilingual Education, Educational Leadership and Counseling, Health and Kinesiology. Come

Texas A&M University-Kingsville offers three routes for certification:

--Initial Teacher Certification through our undergraduate degree program through the Educator Preparation Program (EPP),
--Initial Teacher Certification through the Alternative Certification Program (ACP), a non-traditional route designed for individuals who already hold a Bachelor's degree, and
--Professional Service Certif

ication, offered at the graduate level (typically with a Master's degree). Professional Service Certification may be achieved via our Educational Leadership and Counseling Department (EDLC) in three areas:
--School Counselor
--Principal
--Superintendent

or via our Teacher and Bilingual Education Department (TBED) in three areas:
--Master Reading Teacher
--Reading Specialist
--Educational Diagnostician
