Epiphany School Our mission is to provide an educational foundation that fosters exemplary academic, Christian, and social development. The year was 1950. Illa Clement and Mrs.

A small group, headed by Mrs. Mary Lewis Kleberg, met at the Church of the Epiphany to discuss establishing a day school. The first kindergarten class began that September with one teacher and thirteen children. A second kindergarten opened soon after and was followed by a pre-kindergarten group of four year olds. First grade was offered for the first time in 1960. Additional grades were added thr

ough the years as the demand developed. The Epiphany Episcopal Day School became a complete elementary system in 1974 with classes from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Epiphany's first Head of School was Mrs. Cassie Clark. Cassie turned Illa Clement and Mary Lewis Kleberg's desire to give the children of South Texas an exemplary education based on Christian values and beliefs into a reality. Cassie created a unique school that provided the strong academic foundation that has produced world class leaders. The success that Epiphany School enjoys today, after almost 60 years, rests on the foundation that was so lovingly and diligently built by Cassie Clark.

Our End-of-Year Party was one for the books! 🎉☀️

Pizza Parlor, Summer Snow Sno-Kones, Ziggy’s Inflatables, and nonstop fun made for the perfect celebration, and the kids had an absolute blast! 🍕🍧 A huge thank you to our host, Rancho Cielito Lindo, and to our incredible parents and staff who helped organize and execute everything!

What a beautiful way to close out our garden program with Youth Education & Outreach Programs! 🌱🍅

Our students had the opportunity to harvest the vegetables they worked so hard to grow — including tomatoes, squash, peas, and radishes — and share them with their families during our Garden Party. We are so proud of all they learned this season about patience, responsibility, and caring for God’s creation. 💚

What an unforgettable Derby Night! 🐎✨

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support shown to Epiphany School. Because of each of you, last night was not only a beautiful event, but a true celebration of community, generosity, and shared purpose. 🙌✝️
