Ruth's Learning Academy mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, high quality, comprehensive tutoring after school program for children ages 5 to 15.

Our focus is to invigorate our children as we assist them in becoming successful in school and in life.

Late post: Last two weeks of summer camp...we learned a little more about our state South Carolina, the girls had a spa day and we painted canvas...the children participated in cooking class, making apple donuts, and they participated in several outdoor activities and art and crafts activities.. the last day the children made ice cream sundaes...our summer program was a success!!!

Week 4: theme photography...the children enjoyed taking pictures of their friends, Mrs. Chandler, and different items...we celebrated Darin's birthday and we played indoor and outgames

Week 3..the theme was Aquatic...the children learned about the 5 oceans...we did Aquatic art and crafts activities...the children participated in music class with Mr. Green...the children are learning about the 66 books of the Bible with Mrs. Chandler...the children enjoyed the outdoor activities... we played Aquatic win it to minute games ...the children participated in the book club on Monday...and the children had a blast visiting the Aquarium in Myrtle Beach!

Week 2...we celebrated Juneteenth...the children made Juneteenth art and crafts activities...made Juneteenth bracelets...participated in outdoor activities...made Juneteenth cookies in cooking class...music with Mr. Green and Bible Study with Mrs. Chandler...and on Friday we have a Juneteenth celebrated by eating all red food..red stands for the blood and the resilience of our enslaved ancestors!

First week of summer camp was a success...art and crafts...cooking class...Bible Study with Mrs. Chandler...music with Mr. Green...outdoor activities...minute to win it games and much more...the children enjoyed everything!
