Students in the Machine Tool Technology program recently fabricated a beautiful waterfall feature for the WSCTC Butterfly Garden. This hands-on project showcases the skill, craftsmanship, and creativity our students develop through real-world learning experiences.

SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference 2026, Atlanta, Georgia

West Side CTC's recent graduate, William Vanauken, from the Electrical Technology program, represented Pennsylvania in the Telecommunication Cabling competition.

Qualifying for nationals places Will among the top 1% of students nationwide in this field. I am proud to report that he achieved an outstanding 5th-place finish in this competitive event. He had a long three-day track of certifications in Corning and Fiber Optics, and two days of competition that included knowledge testing, interviewing, customer service scenarios, and practical testing.

Way to go, Will! We are amped at watt a bright future you have in telecommunications and electrical work. Wishing you years of success and a career full of strong connections and zero crossed wires! You are officially wired for success.

Creativity. Leadership. Legacy. 🔧🎨✍️

Senior automotive student, Olivia Craze, is leaving her mark at West Side Career and Technology Center by designing and creating the Class of 2026 Senior Mural — a one-of-a-kind piece that represents every WSCTC program of study through meaningful symbols and artwork.

The mural began with her proudly signing it first before inviting her classmates to add their own signatures, turning her design into a lasting memory for the entire senior class.

From the first signature to the final names added, this project highlights the pride, creativity, and connection shared by our students across every program. We’re proud to celebrate her talent and the memories this mural will hold for years to come! 💙
