🐾 Help Us Support the SPCA of Luzerne County! 🐾

NEPA MMA is proud to be an official donation drop-off location for this Eagle Scout Project benefiting the SPCA of Luzerne County!

From now until July 24, 2026, we’re collecting much-needed supplies to help care for local animals waiting for their forever homes.

Some of the most needed items include:
• Dry kitten chow
• Canned cat & dog food
• Collars, leashes & harnesses
• Dog & cat toys
• Paper towels & toilet paper
• Dish & laundry detergent
• 55-gallon trash bags
• Towels & blankets
• Petco or PetSmart gift cards

🚨 NO CLASSES TODAY 🚨

Due to the current air quality conditions, we have decided to cancel all classes today to keep our students, families, and staff safe.

While we know everyone is eager to train, your health always comes first. We encourage everyone to stay indoors as much as possible, limit outdoor activity, and keep an eye on local air quality updates.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats as soon as conditions improve.

The safety of our students, families, and staff always comes first.

Due to the extreme heat index and out of an abundance of caution, all classes are canceled tonight.

We know everyone is eager to train, but we’d rather miss one night than put anyone at risk in these conditions.

Please stay indoors if possible, stay hydrated, and keep cool. We’ll see everyone back on the mats at our next scheduled classes!

🥋 THROWBACK THURSDAY 🥋

It’s amazing how far we’ve come.

This picture takes us back to one of our very first competitions as a team. ❤️👊

Back then, we were just a group of students, parents, and coaches chasing a dream, learning as we went, and figuring things out one tournament at a time.

There were nerves, excitement, victories, lessons, and plenty of memories made along the way.

Looking back, it’s not the trophies or medals that stand out the most—it’s the people. The friendships, the teamwork, the families that traveled together, and the support everyone gave each other.

Many of those students have grown up, earned black belts, become instructors, and even started helping the next generation of competitors.

Every team has a beginning, and we’re proud of ours.
