Child Care Connections Child Care Connections is a child care resource and referral agency and a program of Family of Woodstock, Inc., serving Columbia, Greene, and Ulster Counties.

Our mission is to strengthen the community by providing education on early childhood development and the importance of quality child care, as well as offering resources and referrals to families, businesses, and child care professionals. We provide families with referrals to legal child care programs as well as information on financial support. We recruit and regulate legal child care programs to

ensure the health, safety and quality of care for children. We sponsor child care programs participating in Child and Adult Care Food Programs (CACFP). We educate and advocate for child care professionals, families and the community on the importance of early childhood development.

Family and Group Family Day Care Providers and Enrolled Legally Exempt Providers- This is for you!!!

DCCS (Division of Child Care Services) continues to support safe sleep practices by offering portable cribs to all home-based licensed/registered and enrolled legally exempt programs. As a reminder, programs are eligible to receive one portable crib that includes two fitted sheets at no cost. Group family day care programs can receive two cribs and four sheets.
Please share this information with programs who have not applied and remind them of the resources available to them.

Super Fun MUD day at Seedling Child Care. Children had the opportunity to jump in mud piles, paint with tempera and mud, and make plenty of mud pies in the mud kitchens. Staff loved it and asked for similar messy play ideas.

Target is voluntarily recalling Up & Up Fragrance Free and Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes following customer complaints of product discoloration, and FDA testing that identified the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli in product samples.
