Proud to highlight Laborers Local 292 apprentice Daelan Dunn working with Granite Construction on the Secrete Creek project.

Daelan continues to show up, stay reliable, take coaching, and apply what he learns every day.

That’s how strong apprentices become skilled journey workers.

Keep up the great work brother.

This week we shine a spotlight on Laborers Local 295, a proud sponsor of the Construction Hike for Hope at the Red Butte Garden supporting su***de prevention awareness.

LIUNA Local 295 represents hardworking men and women who build the roads, bridges, pipelines, and infrastructure that keep our communities moving. Just as importantly, they stand together as sisters and brothers on and off the jobsite!

By supporting the Construction Hike for Hope, LIUNA Local 295 is helping raise awareness for su***de prevention and reinforcing the message that looking out for one another includes mental health. Together, we can break the stigma, encourage conversations and remind every construction worker that they are never alone.

Feel the Power. Share the Hope. Build a Stronger Tomorrow.

Numerous wildfires have impacted our communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Some families have been without power for over a week, many have been forced to evacuate with just what they could quickly grab, and others have lost their homes.

Help us stand together for our LIUNA sisters, brothers and fellow community members who desperately need our support.

Please click the link below for a list of urgently needed items that will be dispersed by the Local Unions.

Together, we can make a difference! 🧡🧡🧡

The safety of our members is always our top priority.

Wildfires across the Northwest are creating smoky conditions that can affect Laborers on jobsites throughout the region. Wildfire smoke can travel hundreds of miles, even when the fire isn't nearby. Laborers should check local air quality before heading to work and take extra precautions when smoke levels rise. Staying informed and putting safety first helps ensure everyone makes it home safely at the end of the day.

Laborers Local 292 members continue to show up, early mornings, overnight shifts, and everything in between—ready to work safely and professionally.

With wildfire smoke affecting air quality, please take precautions: wear proper respiratory protection when needed, stay hydrated, recognize signs of heat and smoke-related illness, and speak up if conditions become unsafe.

Most importantly, look out for each other. Safe job sites are strong job sites.

Thank you to all Laborers representing LIUNA with pride and professionalism. Stay safe, stay covered, and watch each other’s backs.
