✨It was an honor to provide music at the Westmoreland Club alongside two talented students, Abby (flute) and Lauren (cello), for a beautiful event featuring the incredible culinary creations of the Brotherhood of Chefs in support of the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association.✨

Both girls are sophomores in high school, and this was their very first professional gig. They prepared three full sets of music and performed for nearly three hours with poise, musicianship, and remarkable stamina.

I’m so proud of their hard work, commitment, and the way they rose to the occasion. They did a beautiful job, and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a meaningful evening. Thank you so much for having us!

Last night, Lukas and I had the pleasure of providing cocktail music at the very opening of the Fine Arts Fiesta Platinum Jubilee celebration at The Westmoreland Club as folks arrived for the evening. Guests were welcomed with a mix of popular favorites performed on concert flute and bass flute. Working from lead sheets and adding plenty of improvisation along the way, this young man handled it like a seasoned pro.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students grow into confident musicians who are fully capable of stepping into professional performance opportunities like this. There’s something especially meaningful about sharing the stage with a student who is growing into a colleague.

A heartfelt thank you to Fine Arts Fiesta and The Westmoreland Club for having us. We’re all so excited over here for everything amazing still to come at this year’s Fiesta! 🎉🎶
