Chantel Ramos looks forward to graduating in May after triple majoring in Africana studies, anthropology, and political science. She credits her studies in the humanities with fostering her growth as a scholar and person. “What I value about my liberal arts education,” she says, “is how you’re surrounded by people who are also feeding their curiosities. Dr. Ping Xu will discuss her "Coronavirus" Experience in China and in the US.

Dr. Xu's was visiting family as the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan China unfolded. Her family was evacuated on a State Department Charter flight and quarantined near Riverside, California. She has unique insight to share on experience of COVID-19 in Rhode Island and in Hubei province.
