We had a few last minute cancellations for this week's in person Computer Science Camp on the URI Kingston Campus. If you are interested, you can sign up through the ACN Network https://enrollri.my.site.com/Courses/Courses_SiteLogin
There is no charge when registering through the ACN portal.

The In-Person Computer Science Camp at URI runs M-F from 8:30 - 3:30 daily for students entering grades 5-8. Lunch is included. There is an additional in person Fun with Coding camp that is offered from 3:30 - 4:30. You would also need to choose that option in the ACN portal. There is no charge for this session either.

If you sign up today, you will be placed on a waiting list until the system refreshes at midnight. You would receive your acceptance in the morning. The first six students on the Full Day waiting list will receive offers in the morning and will receive instructions at approximately 7 a.m. about drop off/and a packet to complete.

First time users should click on "Create an Account." URI's K-12 Computer Science Team will be at the Power of the Future event!

When: Saturday, Aug. 19, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Where: Rhode Island Convention Center, One Sabin Street, Providence, RI 02903
Who: Middle and high school youth and their families. All youth (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Cost: Free with lunch and parking included

Join us for Power The Future, the area’s premier youth & family workforce development and career awareness event brought to you by United Way of Rhode Island, on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

Our inaugural career summit will introduce youth and their families to a dynamic range of immersive and experiential career readiness sessions, a powerful group of voices shaping Rhode Island’s future, and a diverse array of exhibitors showcasing opportunities and resources to spark attendees' interest or jumpstart their career.
