2025 SPRING KING'S CHOIR INFORMATION

Our goal is to provide a quality, fun, and educational music experience for your child in a choral setting. We are a Christian Home School Choir and we sing music that is both Sacred and Secular that will bring honor to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We practice at Carriage Town Bible Church in Kingston, NH. The Church and its property are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur if children are playing outside or inside the building.

SPRING TERM:
Junior Choir: Ages 5 (by January 2025) - 8
King's Choir: Ages 9-12
High School Choir: Ages 13-18

TUITION AND MUSIC FEES ARE NOW COMBINED:
Junior Choir: 1 semester $67 (Music fee $10, Tuition $57)
King's and High School Choir: 1 semester $77 (Music fee $20 Tuition $57)

*The music fee is for the purchase of your child's music which is ordered BEFORE the first rehearsal. For this reason, by filling out this form you are committing to pay the music fee ($10 for JC, $20 for KC and HSC) even if you decide NOT to attend choir. Music is non-returnable and is for your child to keep. Thank you.

A quick history:
Originally a treble choir for ages 8 and up, King’s Choir kicked off its first Spring Session in 2013 with 8 students. Since then, God has grown us into 3 choirs with over 40 students! Why are we called King’s Choir? We sing for the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, in Kingston, NH!

Rehearsals are on Fridays at Carriage Town Bible Church in Kingston, NH (4 New Boston Rd.)
Weather permitting, we prefer choir families to stay outside the building during rehearsals. The sanctuary is not soundproof, so loud foyer conversations and activity can distract our rehearsing students, choir director, and accompanist. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Junior Choir (ages 5-8) 1-1:35 pm
King’s Choir (ages 9-12) 1:45-2:45 pm
High School Choir (ages 13-18) 3-4 pm
Snow Cancellations:
You will be notified by email if there is a snow cancellation.
Snow day make-up will be on the Saturday morning following the Friday cancellation:
JC 9:30-10 am
KC 10:10-11:10 am
HSC 11:20-12:20

Required supplies:
1 inch, 3-ringed floppy binder (available for $1.25 at first rehearsal)
HSC - #2 pencil
KC - small box of colored pencils
JC - small box of crayons
Cloth or reusable bag to hold choir binder and supplies (please label with student's name)
If you are a returning choir student, make sure to remove all choir music from last session, so your binders are EMPTY.
To avoid forgetting and/or losing choir music at home, all choir bags will be stored in bins at CTBC after each rehearsal. JC and KC students may take music home with Mrs. Ladew’s permission only (this does not apply to HSC...they are responsible young adults now!).

Payment is due at first rehearsal:
JC $65
KC and HSC $75
Cash, check payable to “Cindy Ladew” or Venmo “cynthia Ladew” accepted. Split payment option is available.

Health Precautions:
If your child is sick, stay home. We ask that all children be illness/symptom free for at least 24 hours before coming to rehearsal.

If you are a new student, a liability waiver must be signed at first rehearsal.

Save the date!
The Fisher Cats game group outing is scheduled on Saturday, July 6th 6:35 pm. All 8-year-old and up students, who are enrolled in the spring session, may sing the National Anthem.

We are “singing for the King” and located in Kingston, NH. There are 3 Christian Homeschool Choruses for ages 5-18. Practices are located on Friday afternoons with Cindy Ladew as our incredible choir director and teacher. The next session will begin on January 26th and will run 10 weeks with 3 concerts at the end.
