Congratulations to Anthony Cirincione for getting elected as Chaplain of the Northeast Province of Kappa Psi this past weekend at our spring province meeting in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania! Anthony is a P3 who is finishing off his last year of class work and going out on rotations starting in May! Also, congratulations to Dominic DeFilipi in getting elected as GCC Delegate for our province! Dom is a P2. He will be going to GCC in Naples, Florida in August to represent our province on the national level! Beta Epsilon is extremely excited to have two of our own on the executive board of the province! Nice job Anthony and Dom! Beta Epsilon also received the Man Mile award because we sent the most the most brothers to our province and traveled the farthest! We are extremely excited for the future!

This past Saturday, our brothers participated in Relay For Life here at URI! Our chapter did an amazing job fundraising for the past couple of weeks, managing to break a whopping $1,000 in donations and coming in 9th out of the 40 teams at URI! It is really wonderful that we were able to raise so much money that will go towards cancer research!

Congratulations to all of the members of the Beta Epsilon 2016 Pledge Class who were just initiated as new brothers last night! Welcome to the brotherhood! Also, a huge shoutout to Brad Williamson and Steven Sica for being recognized as Brothers of the Week for their hard work as Pledge Trainers preparing the group for what it takes to be a brother! One of the big things Beta Epsilon chapter does each year is growing out our beards for the Movember Foundation for the entire month of November. All donations that our team receives go directly to men's health research! Throughout the month, our Chaplain, Jimmy Chen, is putting on events for Movember. This past Thursday, we hosted an event called Pie a Kappa Psi. People could donate $1 to pie one of our brothers in the face with a shaving cream pie. We raised a total of $107 which is going to the Movember Foundation! We would like to thank everyone who donated as well as the brothers who participated in this fun event, especially Jimmy Chen for organizing it! It was a huge success and we hope to do it again in the future!
