The Passing of Nyle Brady (1920-2015)
Nyle C. Brady passed away on Nov. 24, 2015 at the age of 95. He was a longtime SSSA member (68 years), former SSSA president (1964), former Editor-in-Chief of SSSA Proceedings, Emeritus Professor at Cornell University, and author of "The Nature and Properties of Soils." The Agronomic Science Foundation's Nyle C. Brady Frontiers of Soil Science Lectureship was created in 2006 to showcase a distinguished scientist at the SSSA Annual Meeting who has made significant contributions to new and innovative research in soil science, and to honor Nyle Brady.
