Without this understanding of why learning can be so difficult, finding the best path to academic success often remains an unsolvable mystery.

The way to gain this knowledge – this understanding – is through utilizing accurate, time-tested assessments of cognitive development and academic achievement.

Q: What does SailAway require from homeschoolers during a given academic year?

It’s easy!
SailAway requires 3 things.

*Enroll your students each year.
*Submit grades and attendance twice a year.
*Provide a curriculum/subject list for each child.

It’s all online! You can register, report grades and attendance, and even ask questions through SailAway’s digital information management system any time, day or night.
(Not comfortable online? Our helpful homeschool staff is available for alternative submission methods.)

🌟 Team Tuesday Spotlight: Dr. Brenda Murphy 🌟

Meet SailAway Learning & Academy Founder and President, Dr Brenda Murphy. Dr. Murphy founded SailAway in 1994 with her husband Russ. With a PhD in Education and a passion for literacy, she has dedicated her career to empowering teachers and students alike.

Dr. Murphy lives out her mission to Serve All In Love through her commitment to support all teachers—whether in public, private, and home schools—by sharing her deep knowledge of the art and science of teaching through professional development, personal consultation, and mentorship. She encourages teachers, parents, and students to experience new possibilities through her belief that they each possess undiscovered gifts and talents.

During her free time, Dr. Murphy loves spending time with her family, teaching her grandchildren SailAway, especially cursive, and cooking cherished recipes. Join us in celebrating her incredible commitment to education and love for learning!
