EVENT POSTPONED
Due to the potential weather concern expected in the area, we have decided to reschedule the Kingston Community Facilities Community Advisory Meeting scheduled for 6:00pm at the Kingston High School Commons. Ensuring the safety of our community and staff is our top priority, and we want everyone to be able to participate without having to make a difficult choice.

We would like to invite all families to join us at our Family Engagement Night, This is an opportunity to see what your students are doing at Choice, talk with the teachers and Administrator. If you know someone who might be interested in coming to Choice next year, this would be a good time for them to come and see whether Choice would be a good fit for them.

All NKSD schools are opening on a 2 hour delay today, Tuesday, February 25 due to power outages at several schools and road conditions. Buses will run normal routes on the 2 hour delayed schedule. Schools will dismiss at their regular time.

The following changes are also in effect:
No Out-of-District Transportation
No Breakfast Service
No Secondary Zero-Hour Classes
No before school activities
No AM Preschool

School Schedules:
NKHS, KHS, PMS: 9:55 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.
KMS: 10:05 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.
All Elementary Schools: 11:20 a.m. - 3:50 p.m.

Please watch for updates. If outages continue or get worse, we will send an update by 7:30am. No news means that schools will continue to run on the 2-hour delay. Thank you for your patience as we continue to watch weather conditions and reports.

📢 Inclement Weather Make-Up Days Announced! 📢

To make up for school closures on Feb. 3-6, SCHOOL WILL NOW BE IN SESSION on:
âś… Monday, March 17
âś… Friday, April 18
âś… Friday, May 30

đź“… The LAST DAY OF SChOOL IS NOW Wednesday, June 18 (half-day). June 17 will be a full school day.

If additional closures happen, we’ll apply for state waivers. Plus, our new three-hour delay option may help us avoid future full-day closures.

Next Thursday and Friday, February 27 and 28, we have half days—but this time, it’s our teachers and staff who will be the learners! These afternoons are dedicated to professional development and collaboration, giving our educators time to grow, share ideas, and strengthen learning across all our schools.

Dismissal Schedule:

⏰️ KMS: 11:05am
⏰️ Elementary Schools: 12:20pm

There is no lunch served on half days.
