Native Voices of Justice: Empowering the Next Generation of Indigenous Leaders
The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe Career & Education Department, Legal Department and Court Services, is proud to present Native Voices of Justice, an inspiring youth leadership event designed to empower Indigenous youth to discover the many pathways available within the justice system.
Adapted from the nationally recognized Color of Justice program, Native Voices of Justice brings together Tribal leaders, judges, attorneys, law enforcement professionals, legal advocates, and college representatives to encourage Native youth to envision themselves as tomorrow's leaders, protectors, and changemakers. Through engaging panel discussions, a mock trial experience, and meaningful conversations with professionals, students will gain firsthand insight into careers in law, tribal governance, public service, and higher education.
More than a career exploration event, Native Voices of Justice celebrates Indigenous leadership, strengthens cultural identity, and reminds our youth that their voices matter. By connecting students with mentors who serve their communities every day, we hope to inspire the next generation to pursue education, advocate for justice, uphold tribal sovereignty, and create positive change for future generations.
Because the future of justice includes Native voices.
Be Heard. Be Inspired. Be the Change.
Native Voices of Justice is where Indigenous youth discover their potential, connect with mentors, and begin building a future of leadership, service, and justice.
