SGES first graders finished "The Human Body" unit, demonstrating vast knowledge of all they learned! One of our own mothers, Mrs. Daniels (aka Colsen's mom), is a candidate for Nurse Practitioner and held a captive audience as she deepened our understanding of the complicated network of systems that make our bodies work. The children played some new and classic games such as Operation, where they got to try their steady (or shaky) hand at removing foreign objects on the "operating table." They even got to try some healthier snacks like guacamole & chips and turkey pepperoni pizza!
