I am committed in teaching people how to safely handle fi****ms and especially passionate about teaching women how to overcome their fear of fi****ms so that they can defend & protect themselves.

A restraining order is only a piece of paper and whistle simply won’t stop anything. Pepper spray can be a good deterrent, but Teach your Daughters how to safely use a Firearm, handle a blade and hand to hand combat. Nothing tops Situational Awareness but sometimes it’s just not enough. 💪

No Compromise On Our 2nd Amendment Right ... sr

08/29/2026

This is the trick gun-control politicians have been running for decades:

**Take the criminal misuse of fi****ms by a tiny fraction of Americans—and use it to define tens of millions of peaceful gun owners.**

Most gun owners don't look at a firearm and think “murder.”

They think:

**Self-defense.
Hunting.
Competition.
Training.
Preparedness.
A constitutional right.**

That is the everyday reality of gun ownership for millions upon millions of Americans.

But gun-control politicians can't sell restrictions by showing you that reality.

So they don't.

They show you the murderer.

The gang member.

The mass shooter.

The armed robber.

The absolute worst criminal misuse they can find.

Then comes the political sleight of hand:

**THE CRIMINAL BECOMES THE FACE OF THE GUN OWNER.**

Suddenly, the rifle peacefully owned by millions is discussed almost entirely through the actions of the tiny number of people who use fi****ms to commit horrific crimes.

And then the politicians write laws against **everyone else.**

The criminal commits murder?

**Your magazine gets restricted.**

The gang member illegally carries a stolen gun?

**Your carry rights get restricted.**

A prohibited person obtains a firearm illegally?

**You get another background-check mandate.**

A murderer uses a semi-automatic rifle?

**Your rifle becomes the political target.**

Notice who keeps paying the regulatory price:

# THE PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T COMMIT THE CRIME.

That is what makes so much gun-control politics intellectually bankrupt.

Instead of asking:

**Who is actually committing the violence?
Where is it happening?
Why are repeat violent offenders still on the street?
How are criminals getting guns illegally?
What interventions actually reduce violent offending?**

They take the politically easier route:

**REGULATE THE PEOPLE WHO ALREADY OBEY THE LAW.**

Of course they do.

Law-abiding gun owners are easy to regulate.

We fill out the paperwork.

We pass the background checks.

We follow the carry laws.

We comply with storage requirements.

We pay the fees.

We stand in the lines.

We are easy targets precisely because **we are not criminals.**

The violent offender?

He is already willing to ignore the law.

That is the gigantic absurdity at the center of so much gun-control policy:

**Politicians respond to people who break laws by passing more laws for the people who obey them.**

Then, when those restrictions fail to eliminate violent crime, what do they conclude?

Not:

**“Maybe we're targeting the wrong population.”**

No.

They conclude:

# WE NEED ANOTHER GUN LAW.

And another.

And another.

Because the political machinery depends on keeping the public focused on the gun instead of the person committing the crime.

That's why the imagery is always the same.

Scary rifle.

Crime scene.

Body count.

Mass shooter.

Repeat until millions of peaceful Americans become psychologically associated with a tiny criminal minority.

Then sell the restriction.

That is not serious crime policy.

**That is political marketing built on guilt by association.**

If somebody commits vehicular homicide, we don't define 230 million licensed drivers by that criminal.

If somebody commits arson, we don't define every homeowner with gasoline in the garage by the arsonist.

If somebody uses a kitchen knife to murder someone, we don't pretend the murderer represents everyone who owns a knife.

But with guns?

Suddenly the criminal is allowed to define everybody.

Why?

Because politically, that framing is useful.

It turns a constitutional right exercised peacefully by millions into something politicians can portray as inherently suspicious.

And once they accomplish that, restricting ordinary citizens becomes much easier to sell.

So no:

**The murderer does not represent me.**

The gang member does not represent me.

The armed robber does not represent me.

The mass shooter does not represent me.

They represent **criminals.**

And their crimes do not erase my rights.

# CRIMINAL MISUSE DOESN'T DEFINE A RIGHT.

If gun-control politicians genuinely want to reduce violence, then target violent people, violent places, repeat offenders, illegal trafficking, gangs and the criminal behavior actually producing the victims.

But stop pretending that millions of peaceful gun owners are the problem simply because regulating us is easier than controlling criminals.

**Punishing the innocent for the behavior of the guilty isn't “common sense.”**

It's lazy policy.

And when politicians repeatedly use the worst criminals in America to justify restrictions on everyone who didn't commit the crime, it becomes something worse:

# A POLITICAL TRICK.

**Follow Oregon Pro 2A for unapologetic defense of the Second Amendment and the policies that keep people free.**

🎯 Range Etiquette Reminder

Keeping the range safe and enjoyable is a team effort. Here are a few quick etiquette tips every shooter should know:

Respect the firing line — never step forward until the range is called cold

Keep muzzles pointed downrange — even when unloaded

Wait for all‑clear — don’t handle fi****ms during a cold range

Pick up your brass — helps keep the range clean and safe

Use ear and eye protection — every shot, every time

Be mindful of others — no rapid fire unless the range allows it

Range Etiquette 101: A safe range is a fun range. Thanks for helping keep things smooth, respectful, and safe for everyone.
