Are you ready for more Homeschool Swim Days? For $3 per person, bring the kids out for a fun time in the Outdoor Leisure Pool.

Please note, this is a special event and will be $3 per person for KAC members, YMCA members, and non-members alike. Please enter through the outdoor gate for this event. Homeschool Swim Days takes place in the Outdoor Leisure Pool, which includes the zero depth entry pool area, the toddler play area, the Lily Pad Crossing, and the water slides only.

The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is offering beginner archery lessons this fall for budding bowmen interested in learning about a unique and exciting sport. Take aim this fall, and you’ll be sure to hit the mark.

Classes will be held every Thursday in September from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lynn View Community Center gymnasium (257 Walker Street).

Cades Cove Vehicle-Free Wednesdays return June 18, 2025. They will continue every Wednesday through Sep. 24. Vehicle-free days allow people to walk, run, hike, and bike the 11-mile scenic loop in Great Smoky Mountains National Park without motor vehicles.
