This past week, our recent RNR Band alumni took their first steps as members of the 100th edition of the Dobyns-Bennett Band and Color Guard. The Robinson Band is proud to see our students take their musical skills to the next level and make new friends through their shared enjoyment of band.

The 4th of July Parade was a fabulous first performance as members of the Dobyns-Bennett Band and Color Guard!

Congratulations RNR Band Alumni on finishing your June Band Camp! This is just the beginning of your musical journey as members of the Dobyns-Bennett Band! 🎺

The RNR rising 7th and 8th grade band had their last day of Summer Band today with the full band!

The students have worked non-stop on their technique, scales, and six different pieces of high quality band literature!

It's been a wonderful two weeks of music! As a big send off into the summer, the students participated in an epic RNR Band Water Balloon Competition!

A special thank you our extraordinary Band Moms, Valerie Fain, Theresa Norris McDuffie, and Bonnie Saleh, who helped in filling the water balloons and facilitating popsicles. Thank you to Preston Trent who helped with our percussion students.

We hope everyone has a great summer. In August we will begin the BEST year ever in the RNR Band of Blue!

Thank you to all who attended the Ross N. Robinson Spring Concert yesterday evening!

Pictured below is our Jazz Band's dress rehearsal on Sunday, May 3rd and the May 4th dress rehearsal for 6th Grade Band and 7th/8th Grade Band.

Our 6th Grade Brass students were happy to help the KCS maintenance crew today by bringing percussion equipment back into the band room. Never a dull moment and the band is always hard at work!
