I am very sad to report our classmate, Mark Drabik, passed away on January 18th. Mark, originally from Massachusetts, served our country admirably as an Army officer, a pilot, and as a senior civilian leader, having retired in 2017 in Omaha, NE. It was obvious on Facebook that Mark loved his family very much - including his beloved wife, Barbara, his daughter, Guinevere, and his son, Matthias. While Mark struggled with health issues and pain for many years and recently was battling cancer, heart attack took him from us on Tuesday. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

As a class, we will place a plaque in memory of Mark at the Memorial Arbors at USMMA.

You have probably read the email sent by USMMA earlier today cancelling Homecoming due to a surge in COVID-19 cases on campus and in the surrounding area. I'm sorry to report that we are thus cancelling the tailgate and dinner party scheduled for October 2, 2021.
