Our first graders had a great time at the Monster Mash Reading Bash! Their wonderful poems and songs reminded us that fall is in the air. Families took home reading pyramids to practice together, a monster buddy to read with, and a witch finger to help track words while reading. Thank you, parents and families, for joining us and supporting our growing readers!

🍎📚 Kinder Families ‘Fall’ for Reading!!🍂💙💛

We loved welcoming our kindergarten families to West Elementary today for our Title I ‘Fall for Reading’ event!

🍁 Our event began in the cafeteria, where families learned about phonics/Reading Horizons, and then continued into classrooms for more reading fun! Families enjoyed delicious fall refreshments, including apple c***r, cookies, and snack mix! 🍪

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make this event so special! We love partnering with our Wildcat families to build a love of reading! 🐾📖
