Double, double, toil and trouble… lots of fun and bubbly giggles! 🧙‍♀️✨

Today, our little ghouls and goblins had a blast creating colorful bubbles for our witch’s cauldron and popping the paint bubbles as they formed!

🎨🫧 We followed it up with some spooky Halloween counting practice, and then bundled up cozy and warm to enjoy some crisp fall playtime outside. 🍂🧤

🎃 Fall fun and lots of learning this week! 🍁
Our little learners had a blast visiting our "pumpkin patch" to pick out two small pumpkins and one giant one!
Back inside, imaginations were in high gear building roads, ramps, and towers after we added a brand-new set of magnetic blocks and cars to our classroom collection. We also dove into science by exploring the life cycle of a spider and had fun looking at books. 🕷️📖

Fall fun and busy little hands today! 🚜🎃👻
We packed our day with plenty of autumn learning, laughs, and creativity:
Tractor Pumpkin Roll: We rolled the dice and counted out just the right number of pumpkins to load up into the tractor’s wagon. Great math practice and lots of fun "hauling" our harvest! 🚜🌾
Tire Track Art: Who needs paintbrushes when you have toy cars? We dipped the wheels in paint and zoomed them across paper to create spooky spider webs and textured mummies. 🕷️🏎️
Monster Clip & Count: The kids counted up goofy little monsters on cards and worked their fine motor skills by placing a clothespin right onto the matching number.👾
So proud of all their hard work, counting skills, and creative tracks today! Ask your little one about their favorite activity when you pick them up this afternoon. 🍁✨

👻✨ A "Spook-tacular" Day of Learning & Fun! 🎃
Our little learners had such a busy, exciting day together! Here’s what we got up to:
👻 Ghostly Flight: We engineered our very own pop-up ghosts—and watched them fly!
🎃 Pumpkin Recall: We tested our memory muscles by reviewing what we discovered about pumpkins yesterday.
🔤 Alphabet Match: The children practiced their letter recognition by picking uppercase ghosts and finding their lowercase matches.
☀️ Fresh Air & Smiles: To top it all off, we headed outside for lots of laughter, sunshine, and playground fun!
I love watching their curiosity and confidence grow every single day.

Double the pumpkins, double the fun! 🎃✨
Today our little artists tackled a fun 2-in-1 craft: they painted wooden spooky jack-o’-lanterns with a hidden surprise—lift them up and there’s more jack-o’-lanterns waiting underneath!
We paired craft time with a mini science lesson, exploring the pumpkin life cycle from tiny seed to full-grown vine. We also explored pumpkins as a group and discovered that they come in all shapes, textures, sizes, and colors (not just classic orange!).

🎃 A Spooktacular Morning of Learning & Fun! 👻
Our little learners had a busy, creative start to the day:
✨ Halloween Art: We broke out our brand-new paint markers to design vibrant, festive Halloween pictures!
🌙 Night Sky Exploration: We talked about all the mysteries of the night sky—from glowing stars to the shining moon.
🧙‍♀️ Witches' Brew Math: Everyone practiced their counting skills by counting out just the right number of "slimy" green balls to stir into the bubbling witch’s stew!
🏚️ Haunted House Rewards: To celebrate working so hard during morning activities, each friend earned fun stickers to decorate their very own haunted house.

Happy Friday! 🦇✨ We packed so much fun and learning into our morning today!
Here’s a peek at what our busy little learners got up to:
Wing-Flapping Bats: We kicked off the day crafting mechanical bats—pull the string, and watch their wings flap!
Colorful Monsters: We put the finishing touches on the bright, silly monsters we painted yesterday. 🎨👾
Math & Science Time: We practiced our counting with a fun hands-on activity, then explored how the sun moves across the sky throughout the day. ☀️🔢
Show & Tell: Everyone loved sharing their special treasures and listening to their friends before we headed outside to burn off some energy in the fresh air! 🛝🌿

I cannot get over how fast she’s learning! 🥺📚
Watch to see this little superstar showing off her reading skills and reciting the alphabet. She was actually SO excited to do it that she started going before I could even hit the record button! 😂🎬

We had such a fun and busy morning learning and playing today! 🍁🎃 Here is a little peek at what we worked on:
🌳 Spooky Tree Crafts: We got creative and made our very own spooky trees just in time for the season!
🦉 Animal Science: We learned all about the difference between nocturnal (awake at night!) and diurnal (awake during the day!) animals, and the kids did a fantastic job sorting pictures into the right groups.
🎃 Pumpkin Number Patch: We practiced our counting and number recognition with a hands-on pumpkin harvest! The kids picked pumpkins, checked the bottoms to identify the hidden numbers, and then loaded them into their wagon.

🦇 We’re having a bat-tastic week in our classroom! 🦇
Today, the little ones painted and assembled a giant bat display packed with fun bat facts! We also reviewed everything we explored yesterday to test our bat trivia knowledge, and their memory of what they learned was so impressive.
We even got a jump start on tomorrow’s special art project—so stay tuned for the finished masterpieces! 🎨✨
To wrap up our afternoon, we broke out our brand-new magnetic blocks, and they were an instant hit! It was amazing watching these creative little engineers design, problem-solve, and build towering structures. 🧱💡
