Mountaineer Families - As you are aware, Kings Mountain High School had a bomb threat this afternoon, which led to the school being evacuated. Law enforcement and school officials responded immediately. A thorough search of the campus was conducted and law enforcement authorities confirmed the report was a false alarm, and the building has been cleared. We will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow. Please be assured that the safety and well-being of your children is our utmost priority. We are proud of the way our teachers, students, and staff responded to the situation.

We greatly appreciate the swift response of local law enforcement and the cooperation of students, teachers, staff, and families while officials worked to ensure the campus was safe. While these situations can be unsettling, our KMHS family worked together to make sure everyone was safe. Thank you for your continued support.

💛 HAPPY NATIONAL CUSTODIAN DAY! 🖤

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible custodial team that keeps Kings Mountain High School looking its best every single day! 🧹✨

Their work often begins before many of us arrive and continues long after others have gone home. They clean, fix, move, prepare, respond, and somehow always find a way to help when we need them. More importantly, they are an important part of the Mountaineer family and help make KMHS a place our students and staff can be proud of.

To our amazing custodians: THANK YOU! We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for everything you do for KMHS! ⛰️

Help us show our custodial crew some love today! 👏🏼
