Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,

Due to adverse weather conditions and low wind chill values forecasted for our area, all schools in the district will be closed on Monday (January 26, 2026).

The safety of our students, staff, and families is always our top priority. After careful review of current conditions and weather projections, we determined that operating schools would pose unnecessary risk, particularly during morning transportation and outdoor exposure.

Information regarding athletics and activities will be communicated as early as possible tomorrow, if not sooner. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.

Bus/Van Drivers NEEDED in Kingman and Norwich. Bus requires CDL w/passenger endors. (District will help earn CDL) Van drivers only need valid DL. Must have clean driving record, physical and subject to drug test. Min is $15/hr van subs; $18/hr bus. Jerome at 620-532-2312

All 8th & 9th graders received an application for Driver Education in their school email. Driver Education is open to any student that is 14 yrs or older. If interested, ask your student or contact either high school office or [email protected]

The National Weather Service, as part of its Severe Weather Preparedness Week, will conduct a Statewide Test tornado drill Tuesday, March 8th (tomorrow) at 10 am.

USD 331 Kingman and Norwich will have a Snow Day & NOT have school tomorrow, Thursday February 17 due to the winter weather forecast of ice, snow & blizzard-like conditions. All school & athletic & activities are cancelled for Thursday. No practices or contests will be held on Thursday. Middle School wrestling is canceled. Remember Friday is a scheduled "no-school" day already. We will plan to play all games that were already scheduled for Friday. Kingman High travels to Wichita Independent Friday for basketball and Norwich hosts Fairfield for basketball. Again, there will be no practices on Thursday, no use of the gyms, no batting practice, etc.

Due to icy road conditions, drifting snow in country & extremely low temperatures USD 331 Kingman-Norwich is cancelling school for Friday, February 4. Activities for Friday evening will continue as scheduled.
