🎓Congratulations🎓
Eight students were awarded the Adult Learner Restart Scholarship! Students who won the scholarship are going into such areas as computer information systems, nursing, elementary education, automotive collision repair and HVAC.

Many recipients are parents, caregiver for aging parents, and all are excited to attend Mohave College and better their lives through education.

The Q's & Brews BBQ Competition helped raised $4,000 for the Adult Learner Scholarship. The event was held in March on the Lake Havasu Campus.

The Mohave College Foundation Alumni & Friends Lake Havasu City Chapter is collecting recipes for the 2nd Edition Community Cookbook!

Whether it's a family favorite, a holiday tradition, or a dish everyone asks you to bring, we'd love to include it. Submit up to 3 recipes for free and help us create a cookbook that celebrates our community while supporting Mohave College students.

As a bonus, everyone who submits a recipe will be entered into monthly drawings for a chance to win a FREE cookbook, with winners selected at the end of August, September, and October.

🎉 Congratulations to Jade Mitchell, the 2026 recipient of the Kathy Hodel Most Outstanding Student Award!

Presented during the 2026 Mohave College Commencement, this prestigious award honors the legacy of Kathy Hodel by recognizing a student who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement, leadership, service, and perseverance. Jade received a $10,000 scholarship to support her future educational goals.

We are incredibly proud of Jade and all she has accomplished, and we cannot wait to see what her future holds at Arizona State University!

Rain or shine, the event is on! Activities may move indoors if needed. For safety, no bicycles if it’s raining. Helmets available while supplies last.
