Our beginner guitar students are officially leveling up! After mastering the notes on strings 1–3, they just tackled their very first duet. 🎸

✨Students teamed up with a partner to learn two completely separate musical parts. When played together, their independent parts blended into beautiful harmonies! Performing as a duo does so much more than just sound great—it builds strong musical independence, boosts active listening, and teaches crucial teamwork and ensemble skills.🎶

We are so proud of their hard work and creativity! Keep rocking, Bulldog crew! 🎸👏🐾

All schools will be on Minimum Attendance Day schedules on Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27 to allow for Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Please contact your student's school if you have any questions about dismissal times and/or to schedule meetings with their teachers.

Our marching band took “creative problem solving” to a whole new level during our fundamentals block this week! 🤣🎶

We challenged them to leave their instruments on the sidelines and bring anything but an instrument as we focus on marching technique. Safe to say, they did not disappoint!! 😎🤣🎉

From brooms and skillets to dinosaurs, our drill block has never looked so chaotic AND funny. While we shared a ton of laughs, our students still kept their focus, locked in their steps, and absolutely crushed their technique work. Who knew you could work on slides while holding a wizard wand? 🤔🤷‍♀️

What a week for the KHS Marching Brigade‼️🥳☀️🥁🎶

Our 49 members came together and refined our skills with commands, marching technique, pre-game, show music, drill, and team building games to prepare for our upcoming season. 😄🎉🙌🎶

The kids are bringing the energy this year, striving for excellence, and showing pride in our team. 🐶💙💛
We are so proud of their effort and accomplishments from this week and we are SO excited to see what we can achieve together with our 2026 show: Point of View! ✨

Come cheer us on this session at football games, parades, and competitions as our members give “💯%”, go “ALL IN”, and perform “FROM THE HEART!” 🪊📣🎺🏈🎷

Y’all, we have been in full swing for next season!! 😎💪🎶

The KHS marching brigade has been hosting new member camps for the past few weeks, preparing new members for band camp! 🎉
Our leaders have been teaching commands, marching basics, warm ups, and pre game music to help our new members feel comfortable and prepared for our summer band camp July 6 to 10 (from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at KHS). 📣🥁🏃🎶

The KHS marching brigade has one more member rehearsal before summer begins on Friday, May 15th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ‼️

It isn’t too late to join our musical family! 🎼🎺🪊📯🎷
