Kingfisher STARS 21st CCLC After School Program

Today kicks off our 24/25 STARS school year at KUE and KJH our staff is looking forward to seeing everyone!

Reminder we dismiss at 4:45!

The last week and a half our STARS students have had lots of fun! The Kingfisher County TSET representative has come and student have constructed a mini golf course. Baked using just a soda and cake mix. Made straw rockets to and using the bigger launcher today to measure distance and how the angle and pressure will effect distance. And diamond painting fun was had by all. Students are also learning through our world drumming program and ukuleles. Then to end the week with with water safety and swimming fun.

We will closely monitor the weather today to make an informed decision on whether to have STARS this afternoon. The safety of our students, families, and staff are the utmost priority. The tornado threat is low, but the possibility of large, damaging hail is possible. For the safety of students, families, and staff, we will not be able to dismiss during a hail storm. A decision on whether STARS will be in session as normal or canceled will be made by 1:00 this afternoon to allow families time to make alternate pickup arrangements for their children. Thank you for your understanding.
