The Economically Disadvantaged Schools (EDS) program is a Pennsylvania initiative that directs tax-credit scholarships to qualified students in under-resourced K-12 schools. We utilize Disco for important information and updates pertaining this program and other BLOCS initiatives. BLOCS is proud to spotlight the Greater Lehigh Area/Berks region as an example of what our partnership with donors and schools can achieve for remarkable students and schools.

This summer, we trained over 50 Advancement professionals in the region through BLOCS University. Together with our partner schools, BLOCS has raised over $14M in scholarship funding for schools in the Diocese of Allentown to be distributed in the 2026-2027 school year, working with over 35 schools in the Greater Lehigh Valley area. Through the EITC program, individuals and businesses can direct their tax support toward students and schools who need it most, turning tax liability into meaningful impact for the next generation. With BLOCS now operating in 65 of 67 Pennsylvania counties, this kind of local impact is happening for students and schools across the state.

BLOCS University utilizes Disco, an online learning management platform that delivers and manages BLOCS training year-round. Disco makes it easy to access courses, track your progress, and learn at your own pace.

Each month we will offer a “BLOCS Disco Drop” to share important updates, announcements, specific deadlines, and more.
