Huge congratulations to Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School senior Fatima H. for earning the prestigious AP Scholar Award!

This national distinction is awarded by the College Board to high school students who demonstrate exceptional college-level achievement. Fatima earned it by scoring a 3 or higher on three or more Advanced Placement (AP) exams!

Fatima’s dedication and hard work embody the spirit of the PA Virtual community. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone with her as she pushes boundaries and begins her senior year strong.

Congratulations to Tashaun M., one of our Senior Capstone Spotlight Award recipients!

For his Senior Capstone Project, “Combatting Food Insecurity in My Local Community,” Tashaun volunteered with Hunger-Free York at Living Word Community Church, helping distribute food to individuals and families in need. Through this experience, he organized food boxes, supported community members, and worked alongside volunteers to help address food insecurity in York County.

Tashaun strengthened his teamwork, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while learning the impact that compassion and community service can have on others.

Congratulations, Tashaun, on this well-deserved recognition and on an outstanding capstone project!
