✨ Artist Spotlight: Sherry McGlothlin ✨

We’re delighted to feature Sherry McGlothlin at this year’s Sol Treasures Outdoor Artwalk Fundraiser!

Although she grew up in a creative family, it wasn’t until taking her first mosaic class in 2017 that Sherry discovered her true passion for mosaic art. After more than 30 years working in both private and public schools in Southern California—where she helped bring art enrichment programs to K–12 students—she now spends her retirement creating vibrant mosaics inspired by the beauty of the Central Coast.

Guided by her motto, “Save the Pieces,” Sherry transforms everyday objects into one-of-a-kind works of art. Broken china, sea glass, shells, stained glass, jewelry, and ceramic figurines find new life in her colorful garden mosaics, including stepping stones, flower pots, birdbaths, and garden sculptures.

Each piece is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and the beauty that can emerge from giving forgotten materials a second chance.

Come experience Sherry’s unique mosaic creations at the Outdoor Artwalk on August 29! 🌿✨

A heartfelt thank you to Pacific Valley Bank, our Presenting Sponsor, for helping make this celebration of art and community possible.

✨ Artist Spotlight: Jo Ann Moline ✨

We’re honored to feature Jo Ann Moline at this year’s Sol Treasures Outdoor Artwalk Fundraiser!

A lifelong resident of South Monterey County, Jo Ann grew up on her family’s farm just outside of Soledad—a place she still proudly calls home. Deeply connected to the land, her photography is inspired by the beauty, light, and stories found in the landscapes that have shaped her life.

A self-taught photographer, Jo Ann discovered her passion while documenting her growing family, eventually expanding her artistic vision to capture the natural world around her. Whether photographing sweeping landscapes or intricate macro subjects, she strives to create images that evoke emotion, wonder, and a sense of connection.

Using natural light whenever possible, Jo Ann’s work invites viewers to slow down, appreciate the extraordinary details found in everyday moments, and experience the beauty of Monterey County through her lens.

Come experience Jo Ann’s stunning photography at the Outdoor Artwalk on August 29! 📸✨
