mission is to facilitate quality instruction in the arts to individuals and groups, regardless of age, race, faith, ability, artistic experience or circumstances; so that students may have a creative outlet. The school keeps a presence in the community by providing music recitals, running benefit concerts for those in need, participating in community events and holding our Annual Performathon whic
h showcases our students' progress during the past year. The Performathon is our biggest fundraiser of the year, funding school programs and student scholarships. We gladly accept any and all donations, be it monetary, music and/or art supplies, instrumental, etc. Your donation is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law; please see your teacher for information. As of September 2022, LFSMA is happy to announce the addition of financial aid scholarships for families in need. Grant money was also used in the past to purchase a laptop and Sibelius software program. WE OFFER:

PERCUSSION: Beginning snare and bell instruction
VOICE: Beginning to intermediate. COMPOSING: We use Sibelius software for composing. MUSIC THEORY: Basic to advanced theory, note reading, chord development, and more.
