Love Lessons; Embodying Change

Love Lessons; Embodying Change Learn to love your self and others with a wide open heart and heal the wounds that caused your heart to close. My sister Cindy was born with Down Syndrome.

She was the third of four girls in our family. I was the fourth. Without question Cindy was my greatest teacher throughout my life. She passed almost four years ago. I was with her when she died and at that moment I decided to make my life reflect, as much as I could, her beauty and simplicity. I chose to start a blog to uncover what she meant to me and what she taught about being with my self and

others in a loving and accepting relationship. For over a year I have been writing Love Lessons and have attempted to share what I am learning about the process of letting go of fear and opening up to love. I am forming this page to share my writing and inspirations about learning to love ourselves and others in an effort to form a book honoring the simple, yet profound gifts from my sweet sister Cindy Love. If you find this interesting, and would like to share any feedback I welcome your thoughts. My hope is at the end of this year a book is formed that will help others learn what I am deeply learning which is, I am enough and I am worth loving. And, I now know how to love you as well.

Staying with your self -

In the language of the body the idea of staying with oneself is a common phrase.  If you are not a body person or one who consciously works with becoming present this may seem like a strange idea.  Of course we are with ourselves, right, who else could we be with?  And, if you ever pause to sens...
