From tornado warnings while working on the team project to placing fourth in Beta Serves, Jr. National Convention was anything but boring! Joseph Robertson placed fifth in woodworking with his stunning chess set, Sophia Hicks radiated with her recycled art project, and our kids worked together to represent KCA in the national service project as well as their team presentation. We also enjoyed a night out at Ray Stevens CabaRay with an entertaining trip through the history of country music. With the 2025-26 year behind us these kids have proved they are “wired for success” and ready to become “legends in the making!”



National Beta

‼️WARNING - INCOMING PHOTO DUMP‼️

Back in May the upper school Betas were able to spend the day on the Tennessee River kayaking, working on collaboration and leadership skills, then treated to lunch by the Tennessee Riverline. This is partly a learning experience, but mostly a day to have fun and celebrate a year well done. It’s safe to say that everyone had a wonderful day, especially having the opportunity to skip a day of class.



National Beta

As we wrapped up the year in Elementary Beta we enjoyed a day out of class where we visited Russell Cave National Monument. The kids really enjoyed the talk on historic weaponry where some of our Beta’s shocked the Ranger with their archery knowledge. They also had fun trying to make fire.

After a short hike to the cave where local native American tribes dwelt at one time, we invaded Chick-fil-a in Scottsboro for lunch.

Recently our Beta Clubs came together to celebrate the end of the year with a pizza party at Lookout Winery. Awards were handed out for those who had kept straight A’s all school year, we recognized the student in each club who had the most service hours, and officers were thanked for their work this year, plus we enjoyed fantastic pizza and ice cream floats!

Service Hour Recognition went to Kinley Hawkins (Elementary Beta) with 50 hours, Kailyn Johnson (Junior Beta) with 85 hours, and Sara Bryant (Senior Beta) with 31 hours.

We are looking forward to a bigger and better 26-27 school year!
