Haddam Killingworth Middle School
This is the Official FB Page of Haddam-Killingworth Middle School, Regional School District No. 17.
Please remember to suggest this page to HKMS students, their parents, their relatives, their teachers, the members of their communities, and their friends. The brand new Haddam-Killingworth Middle School building opened in January of 2007 for students in grades 5-8. The old Middle School housed students in grades 7-8, and the 5th and 6th grade students attended one of the three elementary schools
Region 17 and locally owned Go Mini's Storage have partnered to offer the Haddam Killingworth Community an opportunity to help those communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Portable storage units (PODS) are placed at the Middle School and High School. The goal is to fill the units with items that can assist and provide comfort for the people in these hard hit communities. When the units are full, they are brought to a Red Cross warehouse for distribution. If you are able, please lend a hand. It is a long-long recovery period for many of these towns and their residents, and any help we provide makes a difference. Thank you so much for your help.

Parents,Guardians and Community Members,
Regional School District 17 will be closed on Monday 10/29 and Tuesday 10/30. Given the fact that all the forecast models and data are predicting that the peak of the very strong storm will be from noon tomorrow through Tuesday morning we felt it was best that we make this decision early to allow you to make the plans that you will need to keep your families safe. We will continue to update you as best we can through out the storm period. I hope you all find a safe, dry and warm place to wait out the storm.
