Little People's is a small, family-oriented child care center licensed by the State of Alabama and owned by Gail and Jimmy Johnson. Johnson is a retired educator, having worked for over 30 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Bradshaw High School in Florence. Johnson holds a degree in Elementary Education from UNA and has worked with young children for over 50 years. Little People's is

located in the small community of Killen, Alabama. We have been in this same location and under the same management since 1978. Our staff of dedicated and energetic teachers has years of experience in caring for and teaching young children. Little People’s participates in the Alabama Department of Education’s Free and Reduced Food Program, which assures delicious and nutritious meals and snacks daily. We also accept State CMA (Childcare Management Agency) applicants when space is available. We feel that our place in the community over time has helped us to establish a good reputation which has brought repeat business to us among many of our families..... approximately one quarter of our enrollment will often be either a sibling of a former student, or the second generation of a family member to attend Little People's--the child of a mom or dad who has attended Little People's!
