Participants will explore strategies for honoring students’ linguistic and cultural assets, connecting academic language to real-world experiences, and fostering inclusive classroom discourse that supports all academic language learners.

National recognition for Killeen ISD! 🏆

Andrea D***s recently accepted the Family Engagement Champion Award from the Family Leadership Council on behalf of Killeen ISD at the Family Leadership Summit in San Diego.
The award recognizes organizations that create meaningful and lasting family engagement opportunities. Killeen ISD was honored for successfully launching Parenting Partners at 46 campuses this past school year and strengthening partnerships between families and schools across the district.
