🎨 Got crayons? We’ll take them! 🖍️
Oak Creek Academy is collecting new, used, broken, and even tiny crayon pieces to give them a new purpose. If you have half-used boxes, broken crayons, or a random drawer full of colors your kids have outgrown, don’t toss them — send them our way! Crayon Drive
📍 Drop-off: Oak Creek Academy
1020 Trimmier Road, Killeen
We’d also love your help spreading the word! Share this post with family, friends, coworkers, churches, schools, and community groups who may have crayons to donate.
Every little crayon can make a difference. 💛💚💙💜
Help us color a brighter future, one crayon at a time!

Happy Birthday to Ms. Aari! 🥳🎂

Ms. Aari has been part of our Oak Creek family for a few years now, first spending two years with Education Connection before making the move over to Oak Creek Academy as a paraprofessional this year. 💙

We love getting to celebrate both where she started and the new role she’s stepped into. She brings so much care, patience, and personality with her, and we’re happy to have her growing right along with us.

We hope her birthday is full of good food, lots of laughs, a little time to relax, and plenty of reasons to feel celebrated. 🎉

Help us wish Ms. Aari a very happy birthday! ❤️

We’re so excited to celebrate Ms. Louscilla and another year of having her as part of the Oak Creek Academy family! This is her second year with us, and we’re grateful for the energy, care, and personality she brings to our school each day.

We hope her birthday is full of all the good things — good food, lots of laughs, a little extra attention, and of course, cake. 🎉💙❤️

Help us show Ms. Louscilla some birthday love and wish her the happiest of birthdays! 🥳🎈

Market Day is this Saturday starting at 9:00 AM! 🎉

Come out and support our students while picking up a few treats made with lots of hard work, pride, and probably a little bit of chaos. 💛

We’ll have our cheddar & bacon dog treats 🐾 and our famous banana bread 🍌🍞 available in two sizes!

Every purchase supports our students and gives them the chance to see their hard work pay off in a very real way—which makes Market Day extra special for us.

Come say hi, grab something yummy, and cheer on our amazing kids! We’d love to see you there! 🥰

Friday, September 4th is a Non Academic Day at Oak Creek Academy! 💙💚

There is no additional cost for Oak Creek students to attend for the day. If your child will be joining us, there are just a few things we want families to keep in mind.

Our age cutoff for Non Academic Day care is 12 years old, unless you already have an arrangement in place with administration.

Also, Non Academic Day care looks a little different than a typical school day. This is large group care with less structure than our regular Oak Creek classrooms. For some of our students, that can be a lot! You know your child best and whether that type of day is a good fit for them. We will absolutely do our best to help everyone have a good day, but if your child is struggling or becoming too overwhelmed, we may need to give you a call.

Drop-off is between 7:45–8:00 AM. Students who are not enrolled in Before/After School Care will need to be picked up by their normal dismissal time.

And one more reminder: Oak Creek Academy will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. 🇺🇸

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend! 💚💙

Happy Birthday to the wonderful Ms. Denise! 🎉🎂

Ms. Denise joined our Oak Creek family this year, and it honestly feels like she has been part of our team much longer. From the very beginning, she brought such a warm, steady, and positive presence to her classroom and to our school as a whole.

She has been an amazing addition to our team, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, energy, and heart she brings with her each day. Our students are lucky to have her cheering them on, helping them grow, and making them feel valued exactly as they are.

We hope today brings you plenty of reasons to smile, Ms. Denise! We are so happy you found your way to Oak Creek and hope you know just how appreciated you already are. 💕

Please help us wish Ms. Denise a very Happy Birthday! 🎈🎉💗
