Twas the night before Purse Bingo, and all through the town,
Every purse-loving lady was ready to throw down.
The cards were all shuffled, the daubers laid out,
For the Central Texas College Foundation, without a doubt.
Emmons Construction helped build up the fun,
Isbell Rentals showed up when the planning begun,
Cyd West lent their spirit, so bright and so bold,
And H-E-B brought the goods, generous as gold.
The purses were dazzling, arranged in a row,
Louis and Gucci, all ready to go,
Raffle tickets were flying, the excitement was real,
But wait till you hear about this year’s big deal—
For never before had the crowd seen the day
When diamond earrings could be won in this way!
So dab your card quick and don’t miss a beat,
This could be the night that you can’t be beat!
So here’s to our sponsors, so giving, so true,
And here’s to the Foundation, and all that you do,
Merry Bingo to all, and to all a good night,
May your numbers be called and your daubers strike right!
