Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Constitution Day.

Huge thanks to our fabulous panelists — Dr. Leighann Temple, Professor Michael Krecker, and Professor Michael Walls — for such a captivating discussion. Constitution Day Panel: "We the People at 250"

Central Texas College's Hobby Memorial Library invites faculty, staff, students, and community to a Constitution Day panel discussion this Thursday, September 17, from 12–1 p.m. in the library.

Government and history faculty will discuss constitutional rights, civic participation, and citizenship 250 years after America's founding, with audience Q&A to follow.

Thank you for a fantastic turnout!

Hobby Memorial Library was full of energy tonight at the Creative Writing Seminar with CTC's very own published author, Professor Estringel!

Professor Estringel walked attendees through the do's and don'ts of publishing, giving an honest, eye-opening look at what it really takes to move a manuscript from the computer to the publisher. From common pitfalls to insider tips, the seminar left our aspiring writers with plenty to think about.

A big thank you to Professor Estringel for sharing his expertise, and to everyone who came out. Keep an eye out for future writing workshop dates coming your way this semester!

Meet Alyssa, our Public Services Coordinator at Hobby Memorial Library! 📚

Alyssa's journey at CTC has come full circle. She started here as a student herself, later earning her bachelor's degree in sociology from TAMUCT. Along the way, she worked part-time at the Harker Heights Public Library—an experience that inspired her to bring her passion for service back to CTC, where she's now spent 7 years as our Public Services Coordinator, helping run the front desks and supervising our student workers.

Next time you stop by the library, be sure to say hello to Alyssa! 💛
