Night 2 of the rodeo and Ellison FFA members are ready to serve! Thank you Killeen Rodeo for letting us come back to spend another year with you!

We’ll be grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers and accepting donations to support these fantastic kids!

1st Annual KISD Pig Palooza. Ethan and Connor learned so much and had a blast learning and getting to have a conversation with the judge about what judges are looking for and what they need to work on. This "mini jackpot" was a great way for the students to learn what they need to do from a real industry professional! Huge shout out the judge, Mr. Damion Turner, for coming all the way to help our students!
Connor placed 2nd and Reserve Champion Duroc.
Ethan placed 1st and Champion Lightweight Cross as well as placing 1st in the Swine Showmanship.

Ellisn FFA Secretary Mylenna Hernandez competed today at the Area 12 FFA contest. She did a fantastic job and placed 8th in senior spanish creed! Looking forward to next year. Congratulations Mylenna!!

Day 3 recap of Texas FFA Convention:
The officers spent time in workshops and general session. They learned a lot and are excited to implement the new strategies!!

Big event of the night lone stars!
We had 5 students earn thier lone stars this year! Janiah Jackson and Hunter Taylor were present to walk the stage! Lone stars are the highest degree Texas FFA members can receive. These 5 worked hard these past years. We are so proud of them!
