CHS Bobcat Choir

🐾

Congratulations to Jahmeel Bailey, a choir student at Chaparral High School, for gracing the cover of Southwestern Musician, the Texas Music Educators Association’s monthly magazine!

This incredible photo was captured during dress rehearsal on February 13 at the Henry B. González Convention Center, as the CHS Varsity Tenor/Bass Choir prepared for its performance at the TMEA State Convention as a TMEA Invited Honor Choir.

Among the many outstanding performances at the convention, it was an incredible honor for Jahmeel and the Chaparral High School Choir to be selected to represent the talented singers of Texas on this prestigious stage.

We are incredibly proud of Jahmeel and the entire CHS Choir for this well-deserved recognition and for representing with such excellence!

Our Boosters are sponsoring our first mum & garter-making event!

Bring your own supplies, use what they provide, or BOTH!

See you there!

Congrats to everyone who auditioned for the region round of the all-state process today! Their hard work and dedication earned 19 of our bobcats spots on the stage at the region choir in November! A special congrats goes out to 14 of our singers for advancing to the pre-area round of the all-state competition.

🎉🛏️ FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, our Chaparral HS Bobcat Choir is having a MATTRESS FUNDRAISER! 🐾🎶❤️💙

First question: How old is your mattress? 👀

Did you know mattresses are generally recommended to be replaced about every 7–10 years?

So if you just started counting backward and thought, “Ummm… mine might be older than that.” 😂 IT’S TIME!

And here's the cool part: A Mattress Fundraiser is just like shopping at a mattress store—except your purchase helps support our students! ❤️

📅 Sunday, September 13, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Killeen Civic & Conference Center

For ONE DAY ONLY, you'll be able to come in, lie down, get comfortable and actually try out more than 30 different mattress models to find the one that's right for you.

You'll find top brands including Beautyrest, Purple, Helix, Malouf and more!

🛏️ Prices starting at $199
💰 $100 OFF any mattress $299+
💳 Financing available
🚚 Delivery available
🏷️ Special savings for faculty, staff, police, fire/EMS & military

And unlike grabbing a mattress that's been sitting in a retail showroom, the mattress you choose is made to order and available within just a few weeks!

SAVE. SLEEP. SUPPORT. ❤️💙

You were probably going to replace that old mattress eventually anyway, right? 👀 Why not get a great deal AND make that purchase mean something?

Your purchase directly supports our Chaparral HS Bobcat Choir and helps provide opportunities and experiences for our students throughout the year. 🎶🐾

Don't need a mattress right now? WE STILL NEED YOU! 🙌🏽

Share this post. Send it to your family group chat. Tell your coworkers. Tag that friend who's been complaining about their back every morning. 😂 Somebody you know needs a new mattress!

It's open to the public, so EVERYONE is welcome!

🛏️ Save Money. Sleep Better. Support Our Bobcats. 🐾🎶❤️💙
