Congrats to the Varsity Treble Choir on 2nd place in the region round of - Next Level Performance’s Choral Submission Contest. They have advanced to the state round! Also, congrats to the Pre-Varsity Mixed Choir on advancing to the state round in the non-varsity category!

Hot off the presses: the final edition of Lady Chorusdown of the season!

What an exciting morning!! Congrats to all 20 students who signed at the CHS Fine Arts Signing Day today! This was the largest signing day in Killeen ISD history. We had 4 students sign to commit their futures in music, but 12 choir students total commit to futures in fine arts! Mr. Nick and Mr. Bourg are beyond proud of you and cannot wait to see what your futures hold!!

Congrats to everyone who auditioned! Please keep in mind that this only includes current CHS students. Mr. Nick and Mr. Bourg will be by middle schools this week to test incoming freshmen.

Further, placements are not set in stone and subject to change at any point.

Congrats to seniors, Lya Bailey, Zach Repine, and Amani Mitchell, on earning Killeen ISD Board of Trustees scholarships and getting recognized at this afternoon’s board meeting! You continue to be role models for younger students as exemplary members of our program! I am sure you will continue to thrive and make the most of your scholarships.

The CHS Choir Department proudly recognizes the nominees for Outstanding Performance. Congratulations to all of our performers for their incredible work at KCL last Friday! Students have cast their votes, and the winner will be announced at the banquet on Saturday. We look forward to celebrating with you then!
